"I know what you're thinking, did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean of, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky?"
In 1980, I traded a gun for my first camera and it wasn't long before point and shoot held entirely new meaning.
My passion for photography grew as I traveled the back roads around my hometown of Corinth (population 250... make than 249) and across Kentucky; I have an enduring love for the rural landscape and for the many ways people find meaning and relate to the land.
I graduated from Transylvania with a BA in Art and have owned and operated Jeff Rogers Photography since 1988. My work can be found in regional and national markets and my first book was published in 2006. The award winning coffee table book of panoramic photography, Kentucky Wide, sold out and Kentucky Wide II was released in 2009 and it continues to bring smiles to all who view it.
